Dirt Woman
it’s kind of a cosmic gumbo, that moves to the beat of Black Sabbath
Sorge Band
Hailing from the noxious swampland of Washington, DC, Sorge (sor•guh) blends Stoner/Doom, Fuzz, Sludge, and Psychedelic elements into an esoteric concoction of outer space and inner mind.
A stint of shows in the greater DMV area lead the band to sharing the stage with acts such as Salem’s Mother Iron Horse, New Jersey’s Dutchguts, and Maryland’s Dirt Woman. Various local shows at venues such as Atlas Brew Works, 7drum City, and the Pinch (rip) helped establish Sorge as a local force. Their initial performances culminated in the band playing the Ode to Doom 3-year Anniversary at Arlene’s Grocery, where they shared the stage with Black Pyramid and were well received by promoters and show-goers alike. They were to play Ode to Doom again and tour in 2020, but a global pandemic intervened.
Dirt Eater
