Grady
Grady is a trio from Virginia that combines elements of punk, pop and new wave. Members are Emily Yaremchuk (vocals, guitar), Samantha Collings (vocals, drums) and Will Salzman (vocals, bass). Influences include Placebo, Chaka Khan, Hole, The Beths, James, Liz Phair and New Order. Sounds like: the band that would play the Homecoming dance in a lost episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. You can give them a listen by visiting their instagram @gradyband.
Social Creatures
SOCIAL CREATURES is a Brooklyn-based indie rock four-piece featuring singer/multi-instrumentalist Jono Robertson, guitarist Daniel Tooma, bassist Stephen Charles and drummer John Patrick Roach. Formed in 2018, the band combines nostalgic analog synth and guitar sounds with an eccentric rhythm section, that in their best moments are thrillingly danceable and crushingly vulnerable, simultaneously.
Cherub Tree
Based outside of the Washington DC area, Cherub Tree members Brenna and Ryan pave a new road in the indie scene with their eclectic musical style – combining influences from genres such as punk, folk, grunge, lo-fi, and rock. With acoustic folk-inspired songs like “I Miss”, to up-tempo indie-rock songs like “Serein”, Cherub Tree’s deep resonant tones are complemented by their soft, somber melodies and poetic, narrative lyrics. Cherub Tree transitions to a full four-member band for live performances, which allows them to showcase their songs in a much more dynamic and upbeat manner.
