Greenhead

Greenhead is a band inspired by the classic sounds of Sabbath, Iron Maiden, and Led Zeppelin, as well as the early 90s and 2000s style of stoner/doom, like Sleep, Mastodon, Electric Wizard, etc. They also draw influence from the local hardcore scene within various cities and states. Each group member finds a sense of catharsis in creating energetic music and sharing that energy with the crowds they play to. The band was first formed in December of 2021 with Nick Groves (Guitar and vox) and Ian Andrew (Drummer), and they were later joined by Alex Cole (Bassist) in March of 2022.

SACRICIDE

SACRICIDE was formed in 2018 out of a desire for the founding members to make a return to their metal roots. The five-piece band takes inspiration from all corners and eras of extreme metal—from the punishing riffs and breakdowns of the New Wave of American Heavy Metal to the twisting song structures and groove of progressive metal—all while delivering the soaring leads and ear-catching melodies from the early Gothenburg melodic death metal scene. Thematically, the band’s focus is on exploring humanity’s lasting impact on the Earth, drawing from literature and history to weave together a tapestry of stories that, collectively build a dystopia of hope, loss, and despair.

Ape Index

Ape Index is a three-piece heavy emotional indie band from Fairfax, VA started in 2022 by two lifelong friends. They are inspired by bands like Modest Mouse, Elliot Smith, Nirvana, and pretty much anything from the 90s. Their songwriting comes from the raw emotional experiences of their own lives. Ape Index hopes to transmit the same energy and life they pour into the songs to the audience.
