The DC Abortion Fund is the one of the largest abortion funds in the country, funding abortions for those living in and traveling to the DC region. Since 1995, we’ve supported callers of all backgrounds, income levels, and gestational ages, and have never turned a caller away due to lack of funding.

Devon Williams

Devon is a singer-songwriter-guitarist based in Washington DC. Her music chapters her experiences as a queer twentysomething through confessional songwriting, cathartic melodies, and chords she thinks sound cool. Currently performing solo, Devon is compared to and inspired by artists like Phoebe Bridgers, Japanese Breakfast, and Car Seat Headrest.

Veronica Faison

Veronica Faison (she/her) is a DC-based singer-songwriter largely influenced by the classic jazz vocals of Nina Simone and Billie Holiday and the witty lyricism present in folk-inspired pop from Priscilla Ahn to Connie Converse. A confessional, sentimental and clever (self-proclaimed) wordsmith, Veronica also commands a three-octave range, from a deep contralto to a breathy soprano. She daylights as a lawyer in the reproductive justice movement, hoping for a world where more people can live with the dignity and delight they’re entitled to.

meg dot jpeg

meg dot jpeg is the solo project of DC-based, New Hampshire-raised singer-songwriter Meg Keely Smith. She accompanies vocals with her ukulele, and is currently teaching herself music production. A little folksy, a little funky, a little sad: Meg invites you into her world through her music. Her songs – inspired by words and sounds of artists like Bon Iver, Fleetwood Mac, MUNA, the Indigo Girls, Mitski, among many others – serve as her diary, her way of processing, her home.

Velvet Grace

Velvet Grace (she/her) is a lesbian DC-based singer-songwriter best described as a cross between Jewel and Alanis Morisette. She never shies away from sharing the raw and unfiltered emotions of her queer life journey from frustration, to self love, to sapphic romantic narratives and more. The true pull to her stage is her strong vocals, with belts and growls that evict more emotion than any lyrics alone could. Never too concerned with terrestrial matters, she is an Aerospace Engineer by day with a passion for furthering human space exploration.
