Josee Molavi
Josee Molavi brings powerful soul-inspired vocals to center stage in her genre-bending, artful sound. Molavi is a vocalist, songwriter, self-taught multi-instrumentalist grown from blues rock roots in Severna Park, Maryland. To support her colorful lyrical reflections on relationships, travel, and personal discoveries, Molavi’s music combines intricate melodies and acoustic textures against an indie-alternative backdrop. Josee Molavi keeps her audience watching and listening with her captivating performance skills and experimentation in and between genres.
Apt Men
Apt Men is a Washington DC-based five-piece cover band that infuses high-energy horn lines with rock and funk classics. The group got its start at a Madam's Organ Open Mic Night in January 2023, and has since gained a following from playing many house shows in the DC area and New York City. Each of the members have a very diverse musical background, including Jazz, Punk Rock, Singer/Songwriter, and Choral genres, which undoubtedly shine through in the group's arrangements.
Veronica Faison
Veronica Faison (she/her) is a DC-based singer-songwriter largely influenced by the classic jazz vocals of Nina Simone and Billie Holiday and the witty lyricism present in Sara Bareilles-esqe piano-pop. A confessional wordsmith, Veronica also commands a three-octave range and a sentimental nature. She daylights as a lawyer in the gender justice movement, hoping for a world where more people can live with the dignity and delight they’re entitled to.
