Noah Pierre Band
The Noah Pierre Band is a collective of young musicians from all over the D.M.V. Embracing the traditions of jazz, soul and rock, the group performs original music all around the D.M.V. and are making their D.C. debut at The Pocket. Their debut album is scheduled for release in early August 2023. The band is comprised of Noah Pierre on vocals and guitar, Oliver Unger on bass, Ricky Jefferson on keys and backing vocals, Jordon Stanley on drums and Michael Paxton on saxophone.
Austin Loman
Since forming in 2017, Austin Loman Group has repeatedly captivated audiences with their high-energy sound. Following a stint in math rock band ‘Body Thief’ and years of freelance gigs, guitarist Austin Loman formed the quartet to realize his own compositions. Combining the attitude of the great 1970’s fusion bands with modern textures, the unit’s sound spans the pastoral moods of ECM jazz through the polyrhythmic fireworks of progressive metal. Their unique live show has landed them opportunities to share the stage with the likes of Marbin, Natalie Brooke, and Button Masher, while their 2021 album 'Infinite Square Well' received an honorable mention from Capitalbop.com

What was once a literal attic where friends sought solace through the pandemic, Attic Sessions is now a metaphor for the creative space where the influences of jazz, neo soul and rock coalesce into one of DC’s freshest collectives. Initially drawn in by infectious energy and high-caliber musicianship, audiences stay engaged due to the group’s subtle sophistication that never eclipses their listenability. The band’s sound, characterized by soulful vocals, groove, ethereal harmonies and improvisation, is unique for this matter.
