Outerloop
Outerloop is a post-punk rock band from Northern Virginia. Their sound combines propulsive, high-energy, angular guitar/bass/drum attack with the virtuosic, powerhouse, bi-lingual vocals of latin-jazz singer Taisha Estrada.
PsyOp
DC hardcore. A breathless display of alienation, paranoia, and outrage towards a world skewed, fractured, blown off course. PsyOp's music draws from the 80's Discord era with post-punk and modern hardcore touches, addressing addiction, capitalism, entertainment, and mental health. Their debut EP “Howl from the Void” was released in 2021 following an incubation period of almost 3 years. Since then, they have brought their explosive live show to the DMV and beyond and are currently working on their second release.
Muscle
Pulling up in a grimy minivan at the corner of No Wave and Dog Memes, Muscle jumps out the side door naked and swinging. Since 2018 the Baltimore outfit has sharpened their stripped-down, grinding approach to noise punk in pizzeria basements and DIY spaces across the city, the drum and bass combo of Adam Farkas and Quentin Gibeau screeching and rumbling beneath frontwoman Madison Coan’s powerful vocals. Alternately confrontational and comedic, coy and furious, Muscle pulls no punches in their hot-blooded pursuit of a good time.
