The Khan
The Khan is an influential member of the local underground scene.
Entering the scene aged 17, The Khan quickly developed his own unique sound, later beginning to branch out across the country from Los Angeles to New York City.
The Khan uses a deep, powerful voice, commonly channeled over ethereal beats to create his signature style, and often uses his “Grrraaaaah!” ad-lib.
Khan frequently collaborates with fellow local underground artists such as WIFIGAWD, Auto Lola and NAPPYNAPPA.
Amal
Amal sees his music more as a union of textures than a mixture of styles a DMV bread and New York-based producer. While fresh off of two national tours, at 25 Amal released a variety of eclectic music such as singles on HAUS OF ATLR to his debut genre-bending self-released EP “Gleam”. He’s also teamed up with Nativesun and James Bangura to create the supergroup Black Rave Culture
