Shorty Slim is a Washington, DC-based funk, blues, jazz, and R&B band made up of five veteran musicians. When the group is performing, no one is parking on the dance floor. Known for passion, energy, and lots of soul, Shorty Slim pays tribute to many legendary artists from Herbie Hancock to Charles Mingus and BB King to Sly & the Family Stone.
