Silent Island
Silent Island is the best surf rock band with a punk edge you've seen all damn year. Now local to Washington D.C., they remain loyal to their San Diego roots with music that shepherds you to sunshine with a medium to heavy breeze. These four goofballs live to play music, so catch them NOW while they have enough time to play your house show. They will be superstars.
Landon-Philip
Landon-Philip is a brutally honest alternative indie rock project from the Washington, D.C. area. Landon has been writing music under his solo moniker since middle school, focusing on themes of nature, frustration, and inescapable change. He is moving from attic to attic, basement to basement, and house show to house show with trumpet-laden tunes and an electric guitar.
Lot 18
Lot 18 began when the founding members met each other by being introduced through their moms who hit it off at the dentist. The happenstance continued when they met a guitarist and singer through hockey, the drummer through an old high school friend, the bassist through college and another singer from a bar hopping night around DC. Lot 18 is a happy group of misfits, washed-up hockey players, academics and mid-20 somethings that just want to quit their day jobs. At least one of us is actually talented, but luckily that's enough - the music is pretty good
