South African producer Muzi has captured the attention of critically-acclaimed artists, such as Diplo and Damon Albarn, for his sounds that combine Afrobeat, hip-hop, electronic music, kwaito and other genres—with some being just local to South Africa. To some, he is also viewed as a leader in a new scene of South African post-apartheid millennials who are influencing music, fashion and culture.
