Zack Keim

Zack Keim is currently based in Pittsburgh, PA. He has toured the US and Europe in 2022-2024. His second solo album, titled Battery Lane will be out in early 2025. His touring band features Jordan Clark of The Frights on guitar. Featured at festivals like SXSW. Keim has shared the stage with acts such as Grammy Nominated Peter Case, Calvin Johnson (K Records), Matt Costa, Marty Willson-Piper (The Church), and JD Wilkes (Legendary Shack Shakers). His release “Better Days,” is a wistful gem that wrests melodic bliss out of pangs of nostalgia. “Better Days” hearkens back to Keim’s garage-rock roots with what he describes as a “fast-paced Ramones/Beach Boys vibe”: pounding tempos, wall-of-sound harmonies, vintage six-string textures. Lyrically, the song summons the feeling of sitting in a diner seat, longing for better things in the past, a theme captured by the evocative music video, which was directed by Matt Costa.
